Anger is a negative energy and most harmful quality. It is wastage of energy.

I come across experiences of business houses, where CEOs have anger (of course, dramatic) to produce results. They act with anger and loud noise and bring the results. But, it is not a mentoring leadership. When you commit anger, focus is shifted from the mistakes to the person, not on the problem. Sometimes, other person apologies but it is a drama, not reality. He does not believe in it, for the time being or to conclude issue, he said sorry and wind up the matter. Real leader is frustrated in such situation, but they keep quiet. He has no power in the organization. In India INC. empowerment is in ICU.

Employee definitely quit the office when he/she gets the chance. So, in committing anger, both the parties are losers. Givers and receivers.

Anger arises when you find things are not happening as per your expectations and desires. Of course, sometimes created from likes and right/wrong philosophy.

In anger, you lose control over STATE OF MIND. You are governed by anger not by intelligence. When intelligence is disturbed, thinking is disturbed. When thinking is disturbed you start becoming irresponsible.

A quality of committing anger may harm your character. As per the latest research of stress management, anger is injurious to the health.

Bhagwad Geeta has given clear answer in the chapter -3-37 about the anger, commitment and damages.

My personal impression is that leader should keep silence. (Of course, body language reveals out.) Instead of committing anger, plan how it can be handled and how the situation can be corrected. I believe that, this is true mentoring leadership.

In life, accountability and responsibility is everything. Leadership is accountability. Accountability is justified by only performance and thoughtfulness. Thoughtful mind never commits anger but sound mind selects peace and love.

To remain anger free, you need peace driven and need driven character.
