LEADERSHIP: STORY OF TRUE FRIENDSHIP

Leadership is a true friend to his team members. He accepts the friends as they are and love them and motivate them to accomplish the mission. True leaders wants to see there team members at the highest position in there life.
The dictionary definition amply describes Mike Corbett who, along with his friend Mark Wellman, on July 19, 1989, started their assault on El Capitan. El Capitan is a sheer rock wall 3,569 feet above the floor of Yosemite Valley in Northern California. It is one of the most difficult mountains for rock climbers to scale. The combination of difficulty and danger is sufficient to test the strength and courage of even the world’s most elite climbers.
It took Mark Wellman and Mike Corbett seven days to make the climb. During that time they encountered temperatures of up to 105 degrees and wind gusts that made the ascent even more difficult. When they reached the summit, Corbett stood in triumph but Mark Wellman just kept his seat. He’s a paraplegic and the first person to scale El Capitan without the use of his legs.
Wellman had given up climbing in 1982 after he was paralyzed as a result of a fall. From that point on the only rock climbing he did was in his dreams. Then Mike Corbett convinced him they could climb the mountain together. Wellman certainly couldn’t have done it without Corbett, who led the way and helped Wellman move through each stage, higher and higher. Perhaps the pinnacle of friendship and courage was reached when on the seventh day Corbett was unable to secure the pitons in the loose rock skirting the summit. Knowing that a misstep would send them both plunging to their deaths, Corbett hoisted Wellman onto his back and clambered the remaining distance to the top. On September 4, 1991, Wellman and Corbett set out to conquer Yosemite’s other big wall, Half Dome. Thirteen days later they reached the top of the 2,200 foot vertical Tis-Sa-Ack route on Half Dome.
True leader understand the need of a team player and satisfy it without occurring words .Real leader lead his team player to a peak level of performance by becoming their true friend.
In Indian Wisdom , Krishna become true friends of Arjuna during the most needed time of life and drive him through wisdom to win over all evils of life.
LEADER IS THE ONLY WAY.
Napoleon Bona Part says,” Leader is a dealer in hope.” When things get worst and team lost complete confidence than leader stood up and offer assurance and insurance to the team.
In Bhagwad Geeta ( Chapter -18/66) endorse the same feelings .
Leader always live with keys not locks. He always offers solutions to the team. He is never a part of the problem. He stands with all the members of the team in all lost situation. Word “Quit” is not found in his directory.
He is a supporter, helper, and problem solver and result creator. It gives confidence to the team unconsciously.
Loosing battle is not an issue to the organization but coming back with double spirit to capture the new empire is a serious issue. Leader stands with the organization in such situation with hope.

What is the requirement of role that true leader judge and act accordingly without wasting moment. No one direct him for the role performance. He decides and acts accordingly. Role performance is a requirement for him apart from everything.
Leader plays multi roles. He become follower and some times crowd follow him. Some times he is a listener and some time she is an orator. Some time she is a witness and some times he is a victim .Some times he is a solution and some times he is a solution provider.

Fortunately for me, my self-knowledge has transcended that and I have come to understand that life is best to be lived and not to be conceptualized. Some times he is an end and some times he is a beginning. Sometimes he is a treasure and some times he is a hope. Sometimes he is a refuge and sometime she is a shelter.
Real leader plays multi role. Whatever role requires played by him is an essence of leadership.
People in to the world have to learn that they are role models. They have that quality that which admired the people, society or organization that made them want to be like them.
Leader behaves as role model in all the situations.
Tough,
but leaders are born to meet challenges.
INVENTORIES CAN BE MANAGED BUT PEOPLE MUST BE LEAD.
“Inventories can be managed, but people must be led.” Said very well by H.Ross Parrot.
Leadership is not managing crowd of ship. I cannot give you the formula for leadership or to make everyone happy. Making everyone happy is absolutely not possible in leadership. Yes, leader have to be impartial and equality lover.
Leadership is now reducing to administration. I say “big sorry” to this administration.
Leadership is a spirit and creating charisma in the mind of people. People around the team should feel pride and honour there leader not by the virtue of the position by his influence over the team. Leader can influence the people only by his virtues and values. Your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.
The significant factor in leadership is influence over the people .It is only possible by practices not by positions. Getting people along with the leader is the essence of leadership.
Robert Louis Stevenson says,”Keep your fears to yourself, but share your inspiration with others.”Your presence, it self is an example and power of motivation to the people. Real leader have Omni present.
Leaders take people where they ought to be. The greatest return to the leader is place in the heart of the people and bringing smile on the face of the team. Role of a real leader is to give hope to his team and bring down them to the “YES WE CAN” status.
LEADERS AUTOGRAPH WORK WITH EXCELLENCE.

A Man cannot be complete without his work. Fixing an appointment with work is a real spirit of a leader. Consistency and continuous performance helps the leader in discharging his accountability.
Leader love to stand at the level of work (not duty, not job) without questioning and doubting.
Leader writes contributive chapters. His high-level performance and adding values attitude to the organization or society which offering him to seat in the first raw of the legendary leaders.
Leader got a theory that if he gives 100 percent all of the time, things will work any time.
The difference between try and triumph is a little umph is very well understood by the leader.
There is no limit of doing. You must give more than expected.
I think work is a great coach. Work trained the leader constantly by various experiences and enhances his skill and polishes his attitude.

Leader always put his head heart and hands in his smallest t act. He understands this secret from the day one.
