At that moment taking quick decision and acting upon it was of utmost importance.

In Tennis too, you will find that the opponent of benchmark is serving you at the speed of 135 Km/hr and you have to just take the right decision and play the right stroke, which becomes a winning stroke. In cricket, recently in 20-20 matches, cricketers especially batsman has to hit the ball, which is bowled at 140 miles/hr speed. The ability to show and take quick decision is needed. In fraction of a second, his decision can result either in a hit or a duck. This decision making either results in success or failure. So, it is important to take justified quick decisions.

Take an over look. In defence, decision making results either in life or dead. In tennis, the decision of taking stroke results in hit or miss and in the same way in cricket, acting on the spur of the moment will decide your success or failure. Ability to take decisions and then act on it is importantly required to touch that success line.
