A little extra effort always gives a person an extra edge. Art Williams in USA asserted, “You can beat 50 per cent people by hard working, 40 per cent by honesty, integrity and standing for something; and remaining 10 per cent is a dogfight in the free enterprise system.” To win dogfight you need to do a little bit extra.

No leader can achieve success by doing what is required. One has to put an extra value to his work to achieve excellence.

Leaders are consistent and continuous performer. Legendary people never quit, once they decide to do it, they make sure that things are done. They have conquered quitting habit of an average people. We have to sit with 10 extra smart people and asked them, what extra quality have made them most successful person? (Even if we have to pay, we should pay to learn)

Dedicating little extra, always cost you extra by time, effort, resources and much more. We need longer view while incurring such cost to our work, business and profession.

I come across a person, who always come up to door (sometimes up to lift-door) drop his guest. He shows a smile and up his hand in the air while saying good-bye, irrespective of the level or standard of the person. He makes sure that the person is very properly seen off. When, I got the same treatment from him, I asked him, “Are you doing it for me?”

He said, “No! It is my way of life.”

Have you ever seen a perfect leader?

My view is: “It is a process and may take thousands of years. To create perfect overnight, it is a stupidity. We can start it by today and years will answer that question. We can certainly reach to a better level of leadership by investing little extra in relationship and efforts.

We can certainly do extra by helping others. We have to stand with people, customers and friends. Leaders are grateful to the people who have helped them from all the way through all the aspects of life. People always love you unconditionally and shower feelings for your happiness. Leaders keep in mind and stand with those relationships by adding that extra attitude.

Max DePree asserted, “We cannot become what we want to be by remaining what we are.”

Leaders have to decide to go with speed, risk and courage instead of safety, slowly and caution. I have to face problems, challenges, may be hurt, embarrassed and even struggled through the tough time. So what, this would not stop to take a risk. I would love to die on that way where I was living with a feeling of “DOING”. Life is doing not discussing.

I cannot imagine a person who lives his entire life without risk. In fact, life itself is a big risk, where we do not know what the next moment would be. Don’t you think that we all are travelling on the most unknown road?

We can improve our lives by taking risk, decisions, courage and action. Face the challenges. Blind people face risk at every step they move forward. Katherine Mansfield said, “Whenever I prepare for a journey I prepare as though for death. Thinking that if I never return then all should be in order.”

We can be embarrassed, hurt and out of comfort zone. But, to live at the same level without any victory is more tragic. The person who does not do anything and living life with simple routine will never come out of comfort zone.

He captured the winner trophy, which he had lost last year on the same ground. The policy of safety and too consciousness is more risky than taking risk over.

We make things more difficult and hard by not taking risk. In fact, we cannot find out new things because we have lost the power of venture. People who all have ventured have travelled far from their sight, place and world.

The policy of being too cautious is more risky as people pay more heavy prices in life.

No one can live with pride under the sky and over the surface without the strong character to protect his life and to achieve final objective of the life.

You can have 100 definitions of character. If you asked 100 people what is character? You may get at least 50 components of character.

I try to focus on the following components to shape out character over the surface.

A) VALUES

B) CREDITABILITY

C) INNER-OUTER BALANCE

D) WALK ON TALK

E) STANDING TALL

We live with our core values everyday and throughout the life. Values indicate your beliefs and feelings. We must list out right now five values of our lives. I am greatly influenced by three persons: M.K. Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Swami Vivekananda because of their values.

These people have developed their personal creed and they follow every day. Can I have personal creed? Can I carry the copy of personal creed everyday in my pocket?

Henri Fredric Amiel says, “The man who has no inner life is the slave of his surroundings.”

We all need inner balance. Inner balance is everything. That creates identity and creditability. We all must have habit to listen our inner voice. We all should follow inner voice, which creates external life in the world.

Conflict and contradiction in inner and external life make sure more miserable and make the life petty. Slowly, life is controlled by situations and conditions. So, we are unable to control the life, space control the life, which is the most saddest part of the onetime given life.

I think self-discipline can be a tool of personal compass, which leads us to the great living, and help us in achieving objective of the life.

Walk on talk is the sum total of all our everyday actions. It’s an interesting paradox of the life. Why people change their words? If we can talk on our own words, what is the fun in living with those words? And, every day I have to change my words? Why? Someday, sometime, we can understand, but every day, I have to change my words? So pathetic. For every changing words situation, I have logic and reason for defending my integrity. One of the saddest part of the life.

We should not be differing in promises and our deeds. Why we should create such differences in our life?

Can we live with walking on talking formula to live with pride? Can we refer diary and calendar?

How I will live in my absence?

I think character will not buried with you. It will live after you. This is true, weather you accept it or not it will not make any difference to the character on the surface.

Can we all stand tall in our own eyes and in the front of other one? We all have that talent; only few have not tapped it. Standing tall shall be an attitude. We should stand tall at every turn of the life, even in all adversity, even in all failures. We cannot discount our character in any condition of life on any day of the life.

Today, when the God had sent his son ‘Jesus Christ’ on this Earth, is the day to come out from darkness, hidden sins, rough roads, depressed life and sorrows. The day that directs us to stop worrying.

Let us start believing totally in us.

We have to Spread light over horizon and Break the silence through our results.
We have to focus on our strengths and create results.
God has blessed this day, and us with excellent potentiality and thus Christmas, always keep us reminding to optimize our credentials.

We have to bring out a great man lying in all of us.
From Today, onwards we have to be a leader of our heart, head and hands.
I see a star rising from the horizon.
I see a light coming out.

I always see GOD’s face in my life
Let us, travel inside and meet divine source direction, which will surely leads to divine peace and to fulfill the promises that we have given prior to our birth, to God.

God is Love.
