Wipro chairman Azim Premji became the first Indian to donate 50 per cent of his wealth after he signed up for the ‘Giving Pledge’ an undertaking led by Warren Buffett and Bill Gates, among others. The pledge makes it mandatory for CEOs to donate a majority of their wealth.

The Wipro founder and chairman, who has already committed nearly 9,000 crore to the cause of education, will now give more to charity. Premji is the third non-American after Richard Branson and David Sainsbury to join the philanthropy club.

Premji had donated 8.7 per cent of the total stock of Wipro from his personal stock-holding for philanthropy in 2010. In a note to the ‘Giving Pledge’ organisation, the 67-year-old technology business tycoon wrote, “I was deeply influenced by Gandhi’s notion of holding one’s wealth in trusteeship, to be used for the betterment of society and not as if one owned it”.

Wealthiest people of the world gather under one umbrella. Name call “giving pledge”. List could be find out by visiting Wealthiest people are donating to most needy community of the world.

I would like to share real case.

Mr.Kalayanasundaram worked as a Librarian for 30 years. Every month in his 30 year experience (service), he donated his entire salary to help the needy. He worked as a server in a hotel to meet his needs. He donated even his pension amount of about TEN(10) Lakh rupees to the needy.

He is the first person in the world to spend the entire earnings for a social cause. In recognition to his service, (UNO)United Nations Organisation adjudged him as one of the Outstanding People of the 20th Century.. An American organisation honored him with the ‘Man of the Millennium’ award. He received a sum of Rs 30 crores as part of this award which he distributed entirely for the needy as usual.

Moved by his passion to help others, Super Star Rajinikanth adopted him as his father. He still stays as a bachelor and dedicated his entire life for serving the society.

We all should be PROUD. UNO has honored him but we don’t even know that such a personality exist amongst us.

At least have the courtesy to pass this on and on till the whole world comes to know about this Great Good Samaritan. Man of the Millennium…..

Hat’s off Kalayanasundaram..

I would like to draw attention of readers on four key words.

1/ Giving

2/ Receiving

3/ Taking

4/ Snatching

In the spiritual world, first two are allow. Giving and receiving is allowed. Giving is the best. But giving is only possible when receiving is taking Place. These two have most significant impact in life .These is real religious.

Other two Taking and Snatching are not allowed. These two are consider as worst actions. One could not take right of someone and enjoy so call success. One should focus on spiritual success instead of only monetary success.
