How many of you believe in luck?

How many of you consider talent is a major factor behind the success?

Asked above question to the managers in my managerial effectiveness program

18 out of 25 said “yes”. Remaining 8 says they believe in ‘talent.” They all strongly say that world is based on competency, Performance and talent. All success is possible only because of talent not luck.

The group was very desperate in proving themselves very much right.

Finally, Group asked me what your opinion?

I was listening interview of Star cricketer Saurav Gangully with Harsha Bhogale and he confessed that I strongly believe in luck. Listening star actress Bipasha Basu on the T.V. Aajtak with Editor Prabhu Chavla in the programme called SIDHI BAAT.( Straight Talk). She frankly confesses its all luck. I was interviewing Musical singer Manhar Uddhas and he revealed out very firmly that he is a strong believer of luck. Sportsman, Actress and Singer are smart talent and proven talent even though they strongly say its luck.

My answer is TALENT plus LUCK.

Management thinker C.k. Prahlad also recommends luck in his favorite slide.

You are a great talent and time is not supporting you. Just think about the place where you will reach?

Lao-tzu says it is a time (Luck).

Europe says it is a season. It was a good season and it is a bad season. So it is a season.

I strongly believe in some invisible source. You can name it anything. It’s all left to you. But invisible source is constantly available. “YES.”

If you have observed most of the star sports player after excellent performance they touch the cross, they look to the sky, and they touch the land. They touch the peddle which they are wearing. WHY? If it a talent and it’s absolute performance then what is the reason to say thank you to those invisible sources.

I appreciate and believe in invisible resource .You can name it anything. I have nothing to do with the name; my concern is existence of that invisible source.

Suppose a person is an example of talent but no luck. Than this man will reach to the some place in the life. YES. If he has luck with him, he may cross all boundaries and may be on the top of the field. (Abhinav Bindra).

When you have time with you, world comes to know about you.

Even people who say he does not believe in luck after few years I found them changing their opinion.

If you are a combination of talent and luck, it will be a better visit on the earth.
