Preparation and practice have impact in life. In music, 6 years old child does practice of 9 hours in a week. At the age of 14, they usually practice for 16 hours. This remains and continues up to the age of 23 years.

As per the research, at the age of 20, a musician has practised for 10,000 hours on one instrument. Comparatively, better musicians have practised for 6000 hours as per the weekly practising hours on one instrument.

These practices and preparations make them class-one musician.

Bill Gates has invested nearly 1,575 hours after computer programming for his initial assignment of Washington University working at mainframe centre.

His goal was to practice for 10,000 hours.Famous musical group Bits have played music for 8 hours up to three years in the Hamburg city without looking to the profit centre of the group.

Ustad Bismillah Khan has played flute for 8hours in Varanasi (UP) for just Rs.4 per day. He was receiving only Rs.4 for performance in those days. But, he had not stopped himself. He has performed for 60 years in his life, became the most melodious musician of the world and was awarded Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award.

Cartoonist R K Laxman is creating cartoons from the last 57 years in print media. Few years back, he was honoured with Padmashree award by the Government of India.

Dr. APJ Kalam has worked for 32 years to achieve his mission of life and he made the nation self-dependent in the area of security and technology.

Melody singer Lata Mangeshkar is singing from the last 60 years in the film industry of India.

Masters always practice and prepare thoroughly for their next performance. His mind and eyes are always involved in homework and willingness to learn new things. Most of them are involved in learning new things, value addition and update themselves.

Achievers are deeply involved in their Rihaas, practise and homework. They have attitude to learn and unlearn. They believe in up gradation and innovation in their respective fields. They accept new ideas meet new challenges.

Their main goal is clear and they work everyday to achieve their goal. They practise, practise and practise till they succeed. Practise, prepare and plan is the mantra of their lives.

This is commonly found in Bill Gates, APJ Abdul Kalam, Ustad Bismallah Khan, R K Laxman, Lata Mangaeshkar, musical maestros and musicians. All are from the different fields and different talents but all have same mantra for the life.
