A couple of months ago, I was sharing with an executive in one of my training programme “ Lead more- manage less”
I’ve known for a few years. One of the things I’ve noticed about him in that time is that his confidence has grown in a very appropriate and admirable way. I mentioned this to him and, in reply,
He laughed softly and said, “It’s a fine line between problem and opportunity”.
That’s one of the best lines I’ve heard in recent memory because it’s funny and it’s true.
Here’s what I mean by that:
When you find that you are surrounded by lots of tough situations, hard people to handle and meeting challenges, everyday. When you come across most of the things in a day, which you dislike, When you see yourself is surrounded by unpleasant people than you think and reveal out ‘ I am facing number of problems’. You with sad and dull voice share that life is sometimes full of problems. Even not worth living.
In fact, it is not so. Situations which you see as problems could be turn in to opportunities. People whom you are seeing as tough could be mild and soft if you start seeing them differently. Challenges which you are facing are to be seen very much differently.
I strongly recommend checking your perception to the situations, challenges and people, The way you see people and situations should be change dramatically.
In fact, transfer all those problems in to stepping stones. Change all those situations in to opportunities. Let things remains same, outside you. Only you need to change your ideas and perception and belief level.
Once you change it, than you will see it as an opportunity instead of problems.
You could start winning slowly …. You could jump from one opportunity to another opportunity. You could reach to new place in same situations with new perceptions. Change inside first, outside shall be change automatically
What’s your take on the connection between problem and opportunities?
