Do you ever feel like you don’t have what you need to accomplish your dreams?
For example, thoughts like these might pop into your head:
“I don’t have enough money to have what I really want to have.”
“I don’t have enough education to do what I really want to do.”
“I don’t have enough time to create what I really want to create.”
If you can relate to any of these, there’s a powerful lesson within the story of Hanukkah that shows, just when you think you don’t have enough; the answer is right there beyond your current thinking.
If you’re unfamiliar with the story of Hanukkah, it goes like this:
About 2,200 years ago in Jerusalem, the Maccabees were under siege.
Judah Maccabee called on his followers to cleanse the Second Temple, rebuild its altar and light its Menorah – the gold candelabrum whose six branches represent knowledge and creation.
The central light of the Menorah was meant to be kept burning every night.
According to the Talmud, one of Judaism’s most central texts, Judah and the Maccabee’s who took part in the rededication of the Second Temple witnessed a true miracle that day…
Even though there was only enough oil available to keep the Menorah’s candles burning for a single day, the flames miraculously continued flickering for eight nights, leaving them time to find a fresh supply of oil.
The story of Hanukkah is one that fills me with great joy and hope because it’s a true testament to the miracle of Infinite Intelligence…
The ever-expanding universe always provides enough, no matter how challenging your circumstances or situation may feel!
So, no matter what religion or spiritual practices you subscribe to, there’s a valuable lesson that we can all learn from Hanukkah.
You see, the miracle of transformation occurs when you don’t let what you HAVE to dictate what you can BE or DO.
Instead, I invite you to start thinking about and envisioning what you’d really love.
When you begin to envision what you’d really love, you will begin opening yourself up to the possibilities and abundance that are always within your reach.
To have MORE than enough, What is your current status of life is nothing but a state of mind. How did you perceive it?
you could be so happy with no achievements and totally unhappy with everything you have.
