Melody singer Jagjitsingh released his latest album ‘Inteha’ at the age of 68. A very popular and highly honoured singer is singing from the last 35 years. I repeat from the last 35 years. Songs like “Manzile kya hai, Rasta Kya Hai”, “Honsla ho to fasla kya hai” are some of his super hit songs.
Sachin Tendulkar celebrated his 38th birthday at Durban. To remain sports player for continuous 19 years is really challenging for any sportsman. Physical fitness is a major challenge in sports but Sachin has recovered on this challenge and is still performing at his best even after 19 years. Not a short span in sports.
APJ Abdul Kalam, a scientist from India, has contributed for 32 years in the field of science and technology to make the country self-dependent in security.
Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan is performing in the film industry from the last 34 years as a super star and even today, he is still performing.
Cartoonist RK Laxman is drawing and creating cartoons in Times of India from the last 57 years. Creating cartoons for nearly 6 decades is not a joke. Still, he is creating cartoons continuously.
Toyota car industry is in the field from the last 120 years and still focusing on the new and advanced technology with new ideas and models.
Sony is in the market from the last 110 years and still performing at its level best. Former CEO of Sony Akio Morita once said about the secret of Sony, “Flawless supply at SONY is the secret of success.”
Monday Wisdom is performing continuously in the field of values, which is the essence of success. A tribute to achiever will be given only if he/she is in the field and performing. I repeat, “Be there and perform.”
