"The only mission of life is to ‘Live’. On this earth live every moment to its fullest. This is the only essence of a successful life. People have define life by 200 definitions but I would like to narrate life as - Life has no other meaning except living."

IN PRAYER MAN TRAVEL TO GOD BUT IN MEDITATION GOD TRAVEL TO MAN
August 3, 2009

Prayer is one of the most sacred mode and blessings given to mankind to reach to God. There can be hundreds of way to do prayer. But, the objective of all the prayers is to reach God.

Prayer is not an activity. Prayer is not going to a religious place every day, like attending a church or a temple or a mosque. Prayer is not where you follow words of religious guru.
Prayer is a change in the state of mind.

In prayer, man shift over to Alpha state of mind. In such state of mind, brain cycles per second ranges from 4 to 12. This is the excellent level of mind. You almost remain thoughtless. Peace level and satisfaction level both are very high and you find pleasantness and happiness around you. You also feel positive energy and positive Aura. (It’s mental, not physical)

Prayer is activity free

Prayer when you seek nothing. Trouble drives us in prayer. In fact, we should thank God for making us more spiritual. Prayer is the process of heart, not tongue.
Prayer does change us not the world.

Prayer is wordless

I had been invited in one of the pharmacy company named “CLARIS”.  We have had a silent prayer of two minutes. No words were used. We all got up from the chair, closed our eyes; folded two hands in front of body. We were standing and focusing for two minutes inside us.

Prayer is the way to reach to God.

In Meditation, God travels to man.

As per Osho, there are nearly, 700 ways of meditation. Which method you follow, is of less importance, but the vital thing is that you meditate.

In Pondicherry, Arvind Maharishi, was meditating for 365 days, in one room, he hardly comes out from his chamber, hopefully, once in a year, again he went back for his meditation.

In my eyes, you are with yourself. Focusing absolutely inside yourself. No activity is an activity. No thoughts are a situation.

You start observing your breath. You start seeing your own breathing. You travel inside, meet yourself, and live with yourself.

The first step to activate your own spiritual journey is to find living inside.
Meditation can be work also. You are so occupied with your work (not job). Sharing, romancing, loving and believing in yourself are all forms of meditation.

Meditation is never escaping from society and your role. It is meeting self, anatural and relaxing process. Meditation is from moment to moment. The eyes see, the ears hear. The organs function.
Singer is singing that is meditation, Dancer is dancing that is meditation, Writer is writing that is also meditation, postman is performing that is also a type of meditation. There is no interiorisation, no concentration, no introversion, no withdrawing of the sense. Don't go into the old habits of withdrawal. Go in the directionless expansion, the spaceless space.

Meditation is in truth higher than thought. The earth seems to rest in silent meditation; and the water, the mountains, the sky and the heavens seem all to be in meditation. Whenever a man attains greatness on this earth he has his reward according to his meditation.

Very rightly said in “Upanishad”.

Meditation leads to wisdom. Life is never information collection or knowledge gathering but applying wisdom is a way of living.

“My sole literary ambition is to write one good novel, then to retire to my hut in the desert. Assume the lotus position, compose my mind and senses and sink in to meditation and contemplate my novel.”
-- Edward Abby

Meditation is the life of soul. Action is the soul of meditation.

You definitely find God between the spaces of thought. You need an attitude to observe silence and watch silence. The power, which is moving stars in the sky, the same power is moving us. We need space and time to watch with five senses.

I would like to conclude today’s Monday Wisdom with the message that Heart trains heads and excellent lessons of wisdom is learnt without books.
