"The only mission of life is to ‘Live’. On this earth live every moment to its fullest. This is the only essence of a successful life. People have define life by 200 definitions but I would like to narrate life as - Life has no other meaning except living."

INNER BALANCE
February 23, 2009.

Holistic health is fostered through Physical, Mental and Spiritual balance. What is leaders’ top priority?

‘Clean oxygen in lungs.’
Aim to balance mind, body and emotions with spirit. Life is a blessing of God to live. So, unwind and forget about the troubles of the day and week, and enjoy every gentle nurturing. Inner engineering brings you happiness to leave aside all the tensions at the door. Experience the balance inside yourself by suggestive therapy.

Asanaa (yoga postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, relaxation, positive thoughts and actions are the essentials which make your attitude. Healthy diet is a secret of real inner engineering.

Using these yoga techniques for balancing yourself can help you improve or maintain your health, and prevent illness or diseases.

“Integration and harmony between thought, words and deed, or integration between head, heart and hands is essential to lead a great life,” it is promptly said in the ‘Rule of yam’ in Patanjli (the most powerful book on inner engineering).

"He's the best physician who knows the worthlessness of most medicines," said Benjamin Franklin.

I firmly agree with his statement.

Here are some top tips for a healthier working day
Make it mandatory to exercise for 40 minutes in a day whether it is Swimming, Stretching, Running or any other therapy.

Always follow meditation of 20 minutes. Body travel exercise is the best method in my eyes.

If you want to eat more – eat less.

Walking during lunchtime not only helps in fitness but also wakes you up and stimulates the metabolism.

Never go to bed after taking a heavy dinner. Always keep a gap of at least 90 to 120 minutes.

Avoid water during and after eating. Drink water after 60 to 90 minutes. Your body will automatically ask for water after 60 minutes. Let your body generate water for digesting food. (I am doing it from last 12 years, it works.)

Always avoid late night drinking habit.
Sleep of 7 to 8 hours is the real secret of your sound health.
Never, ever skip breakfast. It gets your metabolism started and helps you maintain energy throughout the day

Jog before work - it wakes you up and prepares you for the day; fitness also makes you feel more confident and alert.

Carbohydrates make you drowsy. Try to avoid them – they may be filling but a large sandwich with chips will just send you to sleep.

If you need a pick me up at work, save coffee for the afternoon – don’t have it just because it’s there. Caffeine makes your energy levels yo-yo, and if you take sugar as well your blood sugar levels swing dramatically - making you feel even more tired.

Exercise provides a psychological boost by releasing chemicals in the brain which help relieve feelings of stress or anxiety - making your working day far more enjoyable.

The list of possible exercises to do at work is endless. Don’t be afraid to try something out – be creative! Remember, INNER ENGINEERING is a must for your life.
