Why people react so fast and so hard?
I do agree with that action to you is not under your control but reaction to those actions is under your control.
Immediate reaction (clear intentions) could be go against with you and force you
You react immediately, probably, innocently and with clean heart. This reaction could be miss used or presented to other one wrongly or use against your career or play against your interest. Sometimes, people are not as good as good as you are. Remain silent with smile
Chief Gardener of Infosys Mr. Narayan Murti have shared once that i am not in politics so i cannot make it. I am not meant for it.
God had gifted ability to choose your reaction.
In case , when you are upset with another’s words towards you, be conscious at time of reactions. It is not what they say for you but it is your reaction to them says lots of things for you.
Jiddu Krishnamurti, ( The Book of Life) asserted very profoundly that “There is no method of self-knowledge. Seeking a method invariably implies the desire to attain some result – and that is what we all want. We follow authority – if not that of a person, then of a system, of an ideology – because we want a result that will be satisfactory, which will give us security. We really do not want to understand ourselves, our impulses and reactions, the whole process of our thinking, the conscious as well as the unconscious; we would rather pursue a system that assures us of a result. But the pursuit of a system is invariably the outcome of our desire for security, for certainty, and the result is obviously not the understand of oneself., When we follow a method, we must have authorities – the teacher, the guru, the savior, the Master – who will guarantee us what we desire, and surely that is not the way of self-knowledge. Authority prevents the understanding of oneself, does it not? Under the shelter of an authority, a guide, you may have temporarily a sense of security, a sense of well-being, but that is not the understanding of the total process of oneself. Authority in its very nature prevents the full awareness of oneself and therefore ultimately destroys freedom; in freedom alone can there be creativeness. There can be creativeness only through self-knowledge.”
I like it. This is a true way of leadership. You should not get jump in to field where you are not focus or field of competency. Remain, silent in such situations and conditions. Have a smile on face. No comments are the best comments.( In fact, comment is on your tongue but you remain silent )
Lot of time, it could be happen to you that you are caught by you are catch by media or friends or third person and seek your opinion.
You should remain silent with smile. Whether you are agreeing or disagree! Once you remain silence than no statement could come out on your name and that is true wisdom.
Specially, when people and event are discussed, do remain silent. Check your intentions.
You can react only in the area of professionalism that is also professionally. To be precise and to the point style always help you in such situations.
I know you have no control over situations and conditions but at a same time you have full control over on your reactions and reflections. You can certainly control it.
Remaining balance, pleasant and control in such situation is really prove useful and beneficially in later stage of life.
Leaders who do occupy in public life should remain silent and if possible can follow ‘no comments’ attitude. I believe, that is most professional attitude.
Suppose, you react spontaneously . After that you have correct it . You have to change words to avoid consequences .In my eyes, you are found in very much awkward box. Probably, you are also feeling most uncomfortable zone at that time.
But, you reaction on situations, after that, you have to change words, change intentions for not facing consequences
