To love a person is to know him first. You cannot love without understanding, that too in totality. I repeat in totality. I have watched mother loving her son with the feeling that he is intelligent but not hard working. Wife guarded in her love with the feeling that her husband “is caring less.” She even feels she could have walked out from his life but painfully tolerated it so as to save the precious institution of marriage.

Howsoever you criticize, condemn, and complain in your loving it doesn’t match when you show understanding and forgiveness. It is rightly said to understand is to forgive.

I am resolute. I will lead this life through a life of understanding and this is the essence of leading a life meant to win all odds.

To meet true love, one needs to understand other’s wisdom. This feeling will help us in bringing about a true relationship and enlightenment in love.

Once, you understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses, you will be able treat your partner very well. Many a time, I have seen wife failing to understand her husband and vice versa. Many a time, boss fails to understand the people around him. When understanding fails cordial relationship gets eroded and loving grinds to a stop.

To understand, you need to watch, listen, and observe each other’s choices. This way the person you love is bound to reciprocate.

Why does a mother visit her son or daughter in prison even though she knows he or she is a criminal? But her capacity to understand and forgive is limitless.

True love is in giving and the more you give the more one gets in return.

When you get time to share your love it brings forth your thoughts, your feelings and cements the process of love further. And therefore I conclude that to love you need to understand first. Understanding leads to clarity of purpose.

What is the point in dividing others on their strengths and weaknesses?  These only lead to  a relationship that is bereft of trust and loyalty and in some point of life you find both sides parting without knowing they are on the wrong roads. Love cannot coexist with hatred. Love needs an attitude of forgiveness to blossom.

Never end relationships with one strong negative belief. It could force you to ruin your relationship. For example, you may consider your partner as selfish; most shrewd; and cunning. This belief will destroy the love you had for so long. Try understanding to get deep into the matter and hear what the other has to say. You will be surprised that so much has happened to take you to the present level of mistrust because of lack of understanding.

This is what LEAD TO WIN OVER series is trying to convey. Understanding and loving and forgiveness form the triumvirate of a fruitful life. Yes, circumstances can spoil your relationship.  You do have the mighty power of understanding to set it all right!
